Refractory metals are particularly characterised by their high melting point, low coefficient of thermal expansion and good electrical and thermal conductivity. At room temperature they show a high resistance to acids. They are therefore described as very resistant materials. High-melting metals are used in electrical engineering in the form of switching contacts, in welding technology as electrodes, in eroding/grinding technology as rotary or pin electrodes or as construction elements in high-temperature technology (e.g. in vacuum furnace construction). Other alloys available upon request We supply the refractory alloys in the form of semi-finished products (rods, sheets, strips) or as customer-specific parts according to individual requirements. Upon prior request, we can supply certificates of analysis or declarations of compliance with the order based on DIN EN 10204:2004.
